Known as the "Warm Coast", the Murcia Region
shoreline runs just over 250 km and is shared by two
seas: the Minor Sea (Mar Menor) and the Mediterranean.
The landscape is peppered with breathtaking cliffs,
heavenly secluded beaches of endless white sand, lively
seaports and natural coves of crystal-clear waters.
Many of these areas are part of the Region´s network of
Protected Natural Lands.
A noteworthy geographical feature is La Manga, a strip
of coastline that encloses and separates the 170 km2
Minor Sea lagoon from the Mediterranean, connected only
by channels or gorges. The Minor Sea´s warm waters have

Areas of ecological interest are also found, such as the
San Pedro del Pinatar salt flats and the Calblanque
Natural Park.
Reservoirs, rivers and two natural parks make the

Polaris World Hacienda Riquelme
The town centre is the focal point of Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort.
Built around a beautiful lake, this is an authentic town where you will
find all the comforts that you could possibly need. The whole complex
has been built around a splendid 18-hole golf course designed by
Nicklaus design. Facilities include fitness centre, swimming pool
complex, restaurants and supermarkets. Hacienda Riquelme consists

The first of the Polaris World resorts to be built with Phase I
completely sold out. Includes a luxury 64 room Intercontinental hotel.
Golf course soon to be extended to 18 holes as part of phase II. Mar
Menor Phase II apartments and town houses have just been released. Mar
Menor Golf Resort is only 5 minutes from Los Alcazares and the beautiful

Polaris World El Valle
El Valle Golf Resort has been designed by top professionals with the
